Anne McNiff-Gaeta

McNiff-Gaeta’s distinguished career spans more than 35 years in the arts and entertainment industry, marking her as a leading professional in ticketing, customer service, sales and marketing. Currently serving as the director of group services at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, she oversees all aspects of group sales and servicing. Her journey in the industry began at Pacific Amphitheatre in public relations, followed by a role as subscription manager at the Orange County Performing Arts Center (now Segerstrom Center) from 1985-1990. McNiff-Gaeta further honed her expertise as assistant to the general manager at Center Theatre Group for three years before transitioning to sports ticketing and hospitality as manager of premium ticketing for the Mighty Ducks Hockey Club for nearly a decade.

She returned to Segerstrom Center in 2002 within the ticketing department, advancing to Group Sales in 2010. Her dedication and leadership have significantly contributed to the success and growth of the center’s group sales initiatives. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is a devoted mother to her two children, and recently celebrated the joy of welcoming her first grandchild.

“Anne’s leadership of our group sales program over the last 14 years has been nothing short of remarkable,” said Casey Reitz, president & CEO of sales. “She consistently exceeds goals and provides an unmatched level of service. Anne is an invaluable asset to the Center.”

McNiff-Gaeta is consistently a top producer in sales. A standout example from this season is her outstanding sales for their recent engagement of Disney’s The Lion King. She sold more than $1 million in tickets, selling out their weekday matinee and filling their weekend matinees. This allowed more than 7,000 local students to experience the magic of live theater for the first time, with more than 34 school buses coming to a single performance. Her commitment to bringing arts to young audiences is truly admirable.

Despite industry trends of declining group sales, McNiff-Gaeta generated $1.9 million in group sales and achieved 104% of the goal in the 2022/2023 season. For the 2023/2024 season, she has already achieved a 40% increase in sales over last year. Currently, her booked sales have her surpassing her season budget by more than $900,000 – an extraordinary accomplishment considering they are not done with their season.

Her passion for the performing arts extends beyond the Center. She was deeply involved with her daughter’s high school’s theater program, dedicating countless hours both backstage and front-of-house for their musical productions. Her talents were especially on display when she single-handedly costumed a production with more than 100 costumes.

Simply put, McNiff-Gaeta makes a tremendous difference for the Center’s organization and the broader arts community. Her passion for bringing the performing arts to diverse audiences through group sales is truly inspiring. She makes a tremendous difference for their organization and the broader arts community.
