SCFTA’s annual Evening of Dance fundraiser to benefit the ABT William J. Gillespie School students

The Pas de Deux Chapter of The Guilds of Segerstrom Center for the Arts announced their annual fundraiser, Evening of Dance 2024, to benefit the ABT William J. Gillespie School students. The unforgettable evening will be hosted by Susan Jaffe, artistic director of the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) and this year’s honorary chair. An Evening of Dance will be held at the Samueli Theatre at Segerstrom Center for the Arts on Sunday, April 14.

The event will feature ABT dancers who received their formal dance training through the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School or Studio Company, including Anabel Katsnelson, Rachel Richardson, Carlos Gonazlez, Lea Fleytoux and Jarod Curley. The dancers are scheduled to perform the Swan Lake Act I Pas de Trois and the Don Quixote Pas de Deux.

Pas de Deux is the newest chapter of The Guilds of the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Formed in 2015, Pas de Deux is dedicated to promoting and supporting the ABT William J. Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center, a joint project of the Center and American Ballet Theatre.

The American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center for the Arts is an expansion of the long-time relationship between the Center and American Ballet Theatre. The school, which opened in September 2015, combines the resources of American Ballet Theatre, America’s National Ballet Company® and Segerstrom Center, one of the world’s leading presenters of dance.
