The Balboa Angling Club has been around for almost 100 years. Founded in 1926, this historic Newport Beach club has been home to the “Master Angler Billfish Tournament,” an annual fishing event that attracts fishermen from all over the world. Two proud fishermen show off their 177 lb. marlin, a photo taken in September 1946.
