Newport Beach – A Look Back

Here is the previous home on 306 Coral Ave. This style of home is commonly referred to as a bungalow, but these were not where bungalows originated from. They were originally created in the mid-19th century by the British in India; the American versions wouldn’t be seen until the turn of the century here in California.

Balboa Island Museum Newport Beach and the Museum Store are located at 210 B Marine Ave., Balboa Island. They are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Free general admission on all days. Two-hour parking is available on Marine Avenue.
