NBWDC meeting features candidates for city councils and Newport-Mesa Unified School District

The Newport Beach Women’s Democratic Club (NBWDC) will hold its monthly in-person meeting on Thursday, June 27, at OASIS Senior Center in Corona del Mar. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for networking; the meeting program starts at 6 p.m.

This month’s program will start off at 6 p.m. with a live stream of the first 2024 Presidential Debate. Following the debate, local candidates will share highlights of their campaign platforms: Carol Crane, president of the Newport Mesa Unified School District Board; Miles Patricola, Newport Beach City Council Candidate for District 7; and Costa Mesa City Council candidates John Stephens (Mayor), Jeffrey Harlan (Mayor Pro Tem) and Loren Gameros (Councilmember).
