LEGO Saturdays

Drop into the Central Library Children’s Room between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 to create with LEGO! Get inspiration for your creations by spinning their LEGO challenge wheel and let your imagination run wild. No registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Funding is generously provided by the Friends of the Library.

Teen Volunteer Orientation: Season 2

Are you interested in being a Teen Volunteer at the library? Head over to Central Library on May 18 from 2-3 p.m. when they review the youth volunteer application process and discuss volunteer requirements/guidelines. Attendance is mandatory at one of the two volunteer orientation sessions for all teens who want to volunteer during the Summer Reading Program. Parents and teens ages 12-18 (grades 7-12) are encouraged to attend.

Take the reading challenge this summer

Save the Date: Summer Reading is almost here

Join the library from June 8 through July 27 for a summer of free family activities, entertaining performances and a fun reading challenge! From high-energy dance performances to interactive science programs, family crafts and prizes for reading, each year their annual Summer Reading Program invites you to take part in an exciting summer of creativity, exploration and discovery.
