After evaluation and public input, a special committee will select up to 10 artworks for installation in the Civic Center Park. Selected artists will receive an honorarium of between $2,500 and $6,000 in exchange for a two-year loan of their artwork. The Arts Commission will host an opening reception luncheon for the exhibition on June 6, 2020.

The Sculpture Exhibition was initiated by the City of Newport Beach in 2014 to further enhance the splendor of the City’s 14-acre Civic Center Park, designed by renowned landscape architect Peter Walker, with designated areas for public art. The exhibition presents a unique opportunity to display artworks in a serene, ocean-view setting that attracts residents as well as tourists from around the world.

The prior four phases of this exhibition have delighted and enriched visitors with the works of world-class artists both local and international.
