The Newport Beach Cannery area, circa 1940s or 1950s. Artists would gather on the opposite banks and paint the Cannery and fishermen at work.

Balboa Island Museum Newport Beach and the Museum Store are located at 210 B Marine Ave., Balboa Island. They are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Free general admission on all days. Two-hour parking is available on Marine Avenue.
