YMCA of OC announces career opportunities dedicated to helping youth grow, succeed

YMCA of Orange County (YMCA OC), the largest licensed childcare provider in Orange County, has open positions in its child and youth development programs across Orange County. With a focus on safety, health, social growth and academic enhancement, YMCA OC serves families and children from kindergarten through middle school with distance learning support, homework support, full-day and part-time childcare options.

Working in child and youth development, YMCA OC staff interact and engage with every child that comes to the before and after school program in a classroom setting. Staff have the opportunity to plan and assist in leading the education curriculum. With valuable training and growth opportunities, many assistants ultimately grow to take on site lead roles – a great opportunity to jumpstart a career. During the COVID-19 pandemic, YMCA OC childcare has remained open as an essential service to local communities. This has presented opportunities for the organization to grow and continue meeting the community’s needs.
