Virtual College & Career Night planned for NMUSD students

Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) will present a Virtual College & Career Night on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

More than 150 colleges will participate, in addition to college and career workshops, interactive panels with college representatives, a live FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) breakout session, virtual college campus tours and NCAA information.

Included will be pathway career booths with representation from a variety of industry sectors and booths with representatives from the military, Regional Occupation Program (ROP), and apprenticeship and training programs from labor unions.

The event is open to 7th-12th grade students and is presented in partnership with Vital Link OC.

Breakout and event sessions will be available in Spanish, too.
