Asher is bound for Princeton University

Among his accomplishments are going to New York for the International High School Model UN Conference. He has a passion for flying, which began last summer, taking “ground school” lessons at Orange Coast College. He followed that up with flight lessons at John Wayne Airport, and flew solo (without his flight instructor) for the first time. He currently holds a student pilot’s license and is close to earning his private pilot’s license. He, along with his father, Todd, who is also a pilot, flew and delivered 11,000 N95 masks from Chicago to the Navajo Nation on May 8-11.

Asher has always lived in Newport Beach, and has a younger sister, Ella, who is a junior. According to one of his teachers, Michael Dobyns, “Asher is a big thinker and loves discussing world issues and politics. He has a thirst for knowledge and is well-rounded. He is one of those kids that you know will continue to better the world as he develops through his life path.”

Go Asher! Go Tigers!
