City to hold Special Needs Soccer Clinic

The Newport Beach Recreation & Senior Services Department is holding a Special Needs Soccer Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 29 at Grant Howald Park.

Schedule:

–Check-in at 9:45 a.m.

–Event from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

–Lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Grant Howald Park is located at 3000 Fifth Ave., Corona del Mar.

The City of Newport Beach serves participants with special needs. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy an assortment of activities through the City’s recreation classes and programs. Among those being offered this winter are Ballroom Basics at the Community Youth Center (Grant Howald Park); Fun with Horses at the Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Center; Solo to Social Gymnastics and Group Open Gymnastics at 16th Street Recreation Center; Basketball Buddies at Newport Coast Community Center; and Sunday Friendship Circle at Bonita Creek Community Center.
