O’Neill to take center stage at upcoming annual Mayor’s Dinner

Tables and tickets are now available for the 39th Annual Mayor’s Dinner, featuring Newport Beach Mayor Will O’Neill, at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Newport Beach Mayor Will O’Neill

As is customary, Mayor O’Neill will share his 2020 State of the City address that evening.

Also joining the festivities is KCAL 9 and CBS 2 Orange County reporter and Newport Beach resident Michele Gile who will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The event will also include a special recognition to all of the City’s past mayors in attendance.

Mayor O’Neill was elected to the City Council and began serving in 2016 as the District 7 representative, then was appointed Mayor Pro Tem in December 2017 and most recently selected as Mayor in December 2019.

The event begins with a no-host reception beginning at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 7 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person and Underwriter tables of 10 are $1,300.

The Speak Up Newport (SUN) Board of Directors presents the Annual Mayor’s Dinner each February. SUN is a non-profit, non-partisan citizens group organized to promote the common good and general welfare of the Newport Beach community.
