The City of Newport Beach’s Recreation & Senior Services Department encourages you to strengthen your fitness routine and boost your mood with dynamic classes like Jazzercise, Zumba, Yoga and more this winter.

Noteworthy is the Play-Well TEKnologies’ one-day LEGO workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Join other youngsters to apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering and architecture through engineer-designed projects. They are offering classes for all ages to help shake up habits and keep you active throughout the new year. Registration for Winter 2024 classes opens Thursday, Nov. 16 at 8 a.m. at www.newportbeachca.gov/register.

Residents will receive a copy of the printed edition of the Newport Navigator in the mail and can view the fully linked digital version online at www.newportbeachca.gov/recreation the week of registration.

The snow awaits during Winter Camp

In addition, registration of Winter Day Camp opens Thursday, Nov. 16 at 8 a.m., so come join camp to experience snowy bounds of fun! Winter camps are designed for campers to enjoy games, crafts and various structured activities.

–Winter Day Camp Week 1 runs December 26-29 (Tue.-Fri.) from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. and is geared for ages 5-12. Register for Week 1 here.

–Winter Day Camp Week 2 runs January 2-5, 2024 (Tue.-Fri.) from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. and is geared for ages 5-12. Register for Week 2 here.
