Senator Min awards $250,000 to Orange County Museum of Art

Last June, Senator David Min (D-Irvine) announced that he secured nearly $10 million for local priorities in the 2023-24 State Budget, including disbursements for 10 projects in the 37th Senate District. The projects include investments in arts education, water management and public safety technology.

As a result, on Saturday, Nov. 11, Senator Min awarded $250,000 to the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) to go toward their public educational programs that provide access to art free of charge for the broadest possible audience.

Min spoke to the audience, followed by a check presentation to the three board members. Min then toured the exhibition Jennifer Guidi: And so it is with Ziying Duan, OCMA assistant curator.
