CdM Home Tour holds launch party welcoming sponsors, supporters to celebrate its 50th anniversary

The Corona del Mar PTA is gearing up in a big way…as they make plans for the 50th Annual Corona del Mar Home Tour scheduled for March 14, 2024. To honor their half-century milestone, they held a launch party on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the spacious Mathis Design Studio in Irvine, inviting sponsors, CdMHS supporters and community members.

Mathis Store Manager Josh Hillsberg welcomes attendees

Attendees were welcomed by Bill Elson, Mathis Design coordinator, Josh Hillsberg, Mathis store manager and Collin Pearson, Bernhardt Furniture representative, along with Gina Jaha, who will again be the Home Tour chair in 2024.

Guitarist Luke provided the live entertainment. Behind him is the Bernhardt leather sofa, an opportunity drawing prize.

Guests enjoyed lively camaraderie along with Champagne, wine and appetizers amid the music by guitarist Luke. There were opportunity drawings to win $1,000 shopping sprees at Mathis Home, a leather sofa by Bernhardt and an art auction to benefit CdM Middle and High schools.

Guests enjoyed lively conversation in the showroom

Among the winners was CdM Home Tour and PTA member Becky Chanawatr who won a $1,000 Mathis Home shopping spree and Sabrina Azadi with @newportcoastmoms a luxury lifestyle platform for women with style and substance, who won the leather sofa donated by Bernhardt Furniture owner Alex Bernhardt.

Two pieces of artwork designed especially for the 50th anniversary of the Home Tour were created by CdMMS 14-year-old Isabella Juarez-Padilla titled Golden Flight, which was auctioned off for $250 to highest bidder Collin Pearson, a Bernhardt Furniture representative.

Wine was poured throughout the festive evening

The 50th Annual CdM Home Tour is presented by Barclay Butera and VALIA Properties. Tickets go on sale on Monday, Nov. 27 with a ONE-DAY-SPECIAL Cyber Monday Ticket. The ticket is priced at $98 (plus fees) and includes access to tour all the homes, breakfast, luncheon, afternoon reception, boutique and a special 50th anniversary swag bag. Bonus items included are a Neighborhood listing in the CdM Home Tour magazine and three Opportunity Drawing tickets. The total value would be $190, so it is a great savings!

After this date, the Early Bird price of $98 runs until December 31. This is for a standard ticket. From January 1, 2024, prices will go up to $128 per ticket.
