Sunday Musicale at Central Library, Summer Concert on the Green, this Sunday, Sept. 17

This Sunday, Sept. 17, the Civic Center will come alive with music all day long…so plan on enjoying an end-of-summer musical feast.

Sunday Musicale presents concert pianist Suejin Jung and pianist/concert soloist Jason Stoll

The Newport Beach Public Library kicks it off with their Fall Sunday Musicales, hour-long concerts held monthly from 3-4 p.m. in Central Library’s Friends Room. This weekend, Suejin Jung, an international concert pianist and multimedia artist is featured along with Southern Californian pianist Jason Stoll, a concert soloist, chamber musician, educator and collaborative artist. Admission is free. Upcoming fall Sunday Musicales will take place on October 15 (violin/piano), November 12 (piano/cello/violin) and December 10 (classical vocal quartet). Boys of Summer headline September’s Concert on the Green

Next up from 6-7:30 p.m., the Boys of Summer, an Eagles Tribute Band, takes the stage for Concerts on the Green (Civic Center Green). With well over 400 high-profile shows throughout the U.S. since 2004, Boys of Summer are becoming known as the top touring Eagles Tribute band in America. Bring your blankets, low-slung beach chairs and a picnic dinner (or purchase food from on-site food trucks). Admission and parking are free on a first come, first served basis. No alcoholic beverages are permitted.

Mark your calendar for the Marina Park concert on Sunday, Oct. 15 from 4-5:30 p.m. when singer/songwriter Tiffany Dennis and Cruise Control take the stage.
