Balboa Island Museum Newport Beach Fun Zone Festival a huge success

Three hundred guests felt like kids again when they attended the Balboa Island Museum Newport Beach’s annual fundraiser – the Fun Zone Festival. Everyone enjoyed the amusement park atmosphere while feasting on delicious food, playing carnival inspired games and dancing the night away. Thanks to the generosity of the new owners of the Fun Zone, the Pyle family, the museum’s fundraiser was a huge success. A special thank you also goes to museum board member Linda Young and her company, Elite OC Productions, for turning the Fun Zone into a magical carnival atmosphere that was enjoyed by all.

This event was the culmination of the museum’s fall fundraising campaign, and the museum exceeded their $100,000 goal by raising $125,000.

According to board member and past president, Shirley Pepys, “We couldn’t have done this without the support of our staff, vendors, donors, members and guests. Thank you for making an investment in the future of your museum.”
