Orange County Organic Gardening Club to meet in person on Tuesday, Nov. 9

The Orange County Organic Gardening Club will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Their first in-person event since March 2020 will feature Lucie Galvin, a Corona del Mar resident and local sustainable gardening teacher and gardener who initially trained with the National Trust for Scotland. She will be speaking about strawberries and their origins, characteristics, and needs and uses including fun, organic, creative ways to successfully grow them at home.

The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will take place at the Orange County Fairgrounds’ Centennial Farm located at 88 Fair Drive, Coast Mesa. Drive through the main gate of the fairgrounds off Fair Drive, turn left and park near the Silo Building.
