Newport Theatre Arts Center kicks off 2021-2022 season of plays with Chapter Two

Newport Theatre Arts Center (NTAC) is back in full swing as it kicks off its 2021-2022 season with Neil Simon’s Chapter Two taking the stage September 17 through October 10.

This semi-autobiographical dramatic comedy is about love, loss and finding a soulmate.

Synopsis: Recent widower, writer George Schneider, is encouraged by his younger brother Leo to start dating again. This sends George into even more depression after a series of bad matches. Then Leo comes up with Jennie Malone, and she’s a keeper. Still, it’s a bumpy trip on the road to Dreamland for these not-so-young lovers.

Directed by Gigi Fusco Meese, the cast features Mitch Cohen, Thom Gilbert, Lori Kelley and Victoria Serra.
