NBPD arrest suspect in March break-in at Harbor Day School

On Wednesday, March 17 at 7:50 a.m., the Newport Beach Police Department dispatch center received a call concerning a burglary at Harbor Day School. It was discovered that two classrooms had been broken into and 16 Apple iPads were taken.

Through the tireless work of the Property Crimes Detective Division and the Crime Suppression Unit, an arrest has been made and several iPads recovered. 

The suspect arrested is Kayla Evette Johnson, 21, of Moreno Valley. Another suspect is still at large described as a Black male, 5’10, 180 pounds.
