Events for families, toddlers and dogs at Spirit Run

Spirit Run’s tagline is “Events for everyone, benefiting kids.” Spirit Run is enthusiastic about including all ages, toddlers to grandparents, in the fun. It also offers families the opportunity to enjoy the event together, even the family pooch. Today’s Spirit Run feature focuses on events for toddlers, families and canines.

A youngster having a great time during a Toddler Trot

Spirit Run believes it’s never too early or too late to incorporate health and fitness into your lifestyle. In this spirit, if you’re old enough to walk, Spirit Run has an event for you. Kids ages 3 and younger can enjoy the Toddler Trot.

The Toddler Trot takes place in a fenced, AstroTurf covered area in the expo. There are multiple start times between 10-10:30 a.m. The little ones may run the “course” as many times as they’d like.

Each trotter earns a “Spirit” medal and shirt.

The Rasmussen Family competes

Spirit Run’s family events are for families to run or walk together. They include the 5k Family Walk and Family Mile.

Better yet, Spirit Run gives families a price break. When parents register, by March 15, their families may save by selecting multi-person pricing. Parent(s) register first, and the third person and additional children save 50% or more.
