View humpback whales, minke whales and playful pods of dolphins cruising off the coast during a Newport Landing Whale Watching cruise
Whale watching has been incredible in recent weeks! Tons of 70 ft.+ fin whales have been hanging out off the coast along with humpback whales, minke whales and playful pods of dolphins cruising alongside Newport Landing’s boats.
Late summer into early fall is one of the best times of year for whale watching. With beautiful weather and fewer crowds, there has been an amazing mix of marine life including sharks during this unseasonable warm El Niño season. Humpback and fin whales often continue to visit through November, making every trip full of surprises.
Newport Landing Whale Watching is located at 309 Palm St., Ste. A, Newport Beach. For more information and to book a whale watching cruise, visit www.newportwhales.com, or call 949.675.0550.
